WHY KEEL?

The word 'keel' carries additional meanings in maritime slang and colloquial language. To 'keep on an even keel' is a widely used phrase, meaning maintaining stability or balance, in both a literal and metaphorical sense. It draws from the keel's function of keeping a ship upright and stable.

GARY W. CRAIG, MS CPA

In 2000, Gary was recruited out of college into a Palo Alto based CPA firm, specializing in high-net-worth individuals, venture capital partnerships, and start-up ventures.  He remained at this firm for 7 years.  Gary then transitioned into the corporate environment, running financial reporting and internal accounting for a $1B gross receipts company in the Bay Area. During that time the company sustained 20% year over year revenue growth (each year), expansion into 17 countries, and execution of a modern ERP system. After 5 years at that company, Gary & his family relocated to Orange County, California where he has been in tax practice ever since.
